SYNOPSIS:

Traveling north into Arizona, Cisco finds that someone committing robberies has been impersonating him and he is a wanted man. After retrieving some of the stolen loot, he is caught with it in his posession and put in the guard house. A friend whose life he recently saved beaks him out and Cisco heads out to find the impersonator and clear himself.

Despite Pancho's warning of danger, the Cisco Kid decides to remain in Arizona to investigate stagecoach holdups for which he is being blamed and a large reward has been offered for his capture. He saves Pedro, a witness to one of the holdups, from hanging. Alice Mason and her mother are rescued from a stagecoach runaway following a masked-bandit holdup. Mrs. Mason is hurt and taken to a nearby mission, while Cisco and Pancho retrieve their stolen jewelry from Smoke Kirby, who has been posing as Cisco. But when Captain Mason, Alice's brother, arrives with his U.S. Army troopers and finds the jewels in Cisco's possession, he places Cisco and Pancho under arrest. With Pedro's help they escape from jail and Captain Morgan is blamed and relieved of his command. Cisco now has to recapture Kirby in order to clear his own name and Morgan's.
